Bangkok ~ Escape to Hua Hin

If this is your Nth time travel to Bangkok, you may consider making a short trip to Hua Hin.

Hua Hin is a one of Thailand's premier Beach Resort towns which is situated on Southern Bangkok (281km away). It is a popular weekend gateway for Bangkok residents as well as foreign tourists.

It takes about 3 hours to Hua Hin from Bangkok. The usual ways to go Hua Hin from Bangkok are either by taxi, bus or train. You may also choose to go there by minivan if you are traveled with a group of friends or family.

3) Train : takes 4 to 5 hours - around THB100 per person per way

4) Swiss Sheep Farm

How to get there:
The Swiss Sheep Farm is on Phetkasem road (highway #4) at kilometer 201, on the left side of the road when coming from Bangkok, just before the PTT gas station and 500 meters before the fork to Cha Am and Hua Hin on the left (straight being the bypass to Pranburi)

Opening Hour: Mon - Fri 10:00 am. - 07:00 pm., Sat - Sun 09:00 am. - 07:00 pm.

5) Hua Hin Hills Veneyard

Elephant ride:
Adult: 15 minutes THB300 per person; 30 minutes THB500 per person;

How to get there:
Drive about 30-40 minutes from Hua Hin Town OR take shuttle bus provided by Hua Hin Hills Vineyard at THB300 per person.

6) Plearnwan Eco Vintage Village

How to get there:
1) Local buses / Song-Thaews: From Hua Hin to the Hat (beach) of Khao Takiap, Khao Tam and Suan Son. These buses run from around 6 a.m. until 5.50 p.m.
2) Busses To Pranburi leave from the same area of Chomsin Road.
