Asiatique The Riverfront is the first and the largest lifestyle night market at the side of Chao Phaya River.

1) Charoenkrung district 

--> more than 1,000 boutiques 

--> includes thai handicraft, souvenir shops, home decor products, etc.

--> theater (can accommodate >400 audiences) to watch Muay Thai Live Show, Calypso Show, Thai Culture Show and Joe Louise Puppet Theatre. 

2) Town district

How to get there: 

1) By boat

--> Take the BTS (skytrain) to Saphan Taksin station --> walk to the river --> get on a free ferry boat ride to Asiatique The Riverfront 

--> It’s about 15 minutes to reach Asiatique (while on the way you may enjoy the nice view of the Chao Phraya river)

--> The boat leaves from the Saphan Taksin station every 15 minutes, starting at 4:00 p.m. and the last boat leaves from the Asiatique pier back to Saphan Thaksin at 11:30 p.m.

2)  By taxi

--> Cost about Thai Baht 120 from Pratunam, Thai Baht 150 from Sukhumvit 
--> Tips: be prepared to pay higher taxi rate to go back to hotel!
